Bridging Finance
Usually a property sale and purchase happens simultaneously creating no problems. However in certain circumstances this may not be the case leaving the problem of how to finance your property purchase.
The answer lies in bridging finance that can either be an open or closed ended arrangement. The difference between closed and open ended bridging finance is that with a closed ended arrangement you have exchanged contracts on the property you propose to sell and are awaiting completion whereas an open ended arrangement means you are without a potential buyer or have a buyer but have not yet reached the exchange of contracts stage.
